farmville is a very popular facebook game everywhere, also in the netherlands.
i personally hate it, so i ignore every object that fb friends wants to sell to me.
but i have noticed lately that active jw's, even the very serious ones, play farmville with disfellowshipped persons.

But I have noticed lately that active JW's, even the very serious ones, play Farmville with disfellowshipped persons. So... they don't greet those people on the street, but it is okay to play an online game? Bro/Sis are completely different 'online' then they are in the 'real world'. It's like being on holiday and act completely different...
Not that I care... I don't follow directions of the WT anymore, but it did surprise me as I used to be very strict as an active JW.
i was wondering if the elders manual is available yet in other languages?
i personaly (as well as my friends on the dutch apostate forum) would be very interested in the dutch version of the manual.
any news on this?.
@sabastious Well, I know that there are a lot of Dutch forums. I usually come here and I'm a member of a Dutch forum called the Paradise Café.
@yknot Yeah well, the elders I know are pro-JW. We do get the Dutch KM from a 'secret sourse' so maybe I am just being impatient, or that 'sourse' is not an elder. I wish my dad was an elder, I would definitely scan it while he's on holiday. But too bad... he is not an elder.

below are examples in which judicial action.
would likely not be warranted:.
after attending a social gathering at a single sister's.

I thought maybe the sister throwing the wild social gathering, should probably be counseled.
Oh yes! But she provided some wholesome entertainment. They were playing kingdom melodies on the guitar, an elder was there as well and they were drinking home made lemonade. The gathering ended very late because somebody suggested to play a Bible game and nobody knew the answers so they had to look all the answers up in the WT-library.

He should just knock on the car window of those elders camping out near her home to catch her with someone spending the night after her "gathering." They can give him a ride home, then no problem.
LOLLLL!!!
Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You are the best!!!
why are jehovah's witnesses as a whole not permitted to read the elder's manual?.
on the first day of the unfermented cakes, well before his arrest and sacrificial death, jesus christ instructed his disciples on how to prepare for the passover.
when he did so, he did not provide advance, detailed instructions for all of his disciples; instead, he dispatched only two of them to find a suitable location, which he evidently had already planned with the householder.
Hilarious!!!
as i've read through the new elder's book, something kept nagging at me about it.
then i went to compare one passage in the new book to the old and it hit me.
i've mentioned it on a couple of posts, but i wanted to start a thread on it.... what hit me was that the new book was like an instruction manual to supervisors in a plant.
Feel the LOVE!!!
